The creative force behind Muse Lab Creatives — where entrepreneurs and creatives rediscover the part of themselves they were told to put away.

The Story

I Built a Career Helping People Build Businesses. Then I Realized Something Was Missing.

For over 20 years, I've coached entrepreneurs through the hard work of building businesses that actually reflect who they are. With an EMyth certification and a degree in Human Development, I've guided countless business owners toward building something authentic and profitable — through Business by Intention, the consultancy I founded to do exactly that.

But along the way, I kept noticing a pattern. The most driven, capable people I worked with — the ones who had built impressive careers and ticked every box — were quietly struggling with something they couldn't name. They'd lost touch with the part of themselves that used to create without permission. The part that made things just because it felt alive to do so.

I recognized it because I'd lived it.

The Framework

That's How the Monsters Were Born

Through my own creative reckoning — and years of working with people navigating the same invisible forces — I began to see the patterns. The inner critic that shuts you down before you start. The voice that says "who do you think you are?" The compulsion to compare, to shrink, to wait until you're ready.

I gave them names. I called them Monsters — not because they're evil, but because they're powerful, and because naming them is the first step to transforming them.

And for every Monster, I discovered a Fairy — an internal resource you already possess but may have forgotten how to access. Courage. Curiosity. Play. Authenticity. These aren't personality traits you either have or don't. They're capacities that can be strengthened with practice.

This became the Monsters & Fairies framework — the foundation of everything I do at Muse Lab Creatives.

The Book

For the Love of Maggie

The framework found its fullest expression in my book, For the Love of Maggie — a fairytale for adults that follows a woman named Maggie from age four through the decades as creative blocks accumulate and her artistic identity fights to survive.

It's a deeply personal and transformative exploration of the inner forces that block and unleash human creativity. And it's the story I believe every creative person carries inside them — the story of losing yourself to the expectations of others, and the long, courageous work of finding your way back.

The Programs

From the Page to the Program

Drawing on the book's rich mythology, I created the Creative Awakening Experience — an immersive 12-week coaching program designed for creatives ready to silence their inner critics and step fully into their creative power. And for those who've awakened and want to go deeper, Creative Mind Mastery takes the work further — an advanced 8-week program for mastering the mind that creates.

These aren't courses about technique. They're about reclaiming the creative life you were always meant to live.

The Art

The Artist Behind the Work

I don't just coach creatives — I am one. My visual art practice lives in two distinct bodies of work:

NeuroScapes — fluid acrylic paintings that translate states of consciousness into visual experience, grounded in neuroscience and the psychology of creativity.

The Bust Series — hand-crafted cement sculptures of everyday people, each one a quiet declaration that every life holds a story worth seeing.

Together, these works reflect a singular artistic vision: that being truly seen is one of the most profound human needs.

The Thread

What Ties It All Together

Whether I'm coaching an entrepreneur through a business pivot, guiding a creative through the Monsters & Fairies framework, sculpting a portrait, or painting a NeuroScape — the through-line is the same:

I help people reclaim what's authentically theirs.

The business that reflects who you really are. The creative practice you abandoned. The voice you silenced to keep the peace. It's all still there. And I'm here to help you find your way back to it.
